How to plan the dream honeymoon?

We would like to share some useful advises on how to plan the honeymoon of your dreams, to minimize the unpleasant surprises and to enjoy special newly-weds treatments.

♥  Always book a double bed – it may sound obvious, but if you don’t specifically request it, you may end up sleeping in a separate bed from your new husband, especially if you are going to a cruise.

♥  Don’t make flight reservations for the early morning after your wedding day. If you take off in the evening of the following day or a few days after that, you will spare yourself the red eyes and fatigue in the first vacation days.

♥  Don’t save on the hotel room. Now is the time to enjoy a gorgeous sea-view or a private Jacuzzi. Your honeymoon is special and you can be a bit extravagant. It will be all worth it.

♥  Still, define a honeymoon budget. Agree on priorities and extravagancies before taking the trip.  For example, if you both like massages, invest in expensive exotic therapies and save on lunch money and additional trips.

♥  Plan together. This is a trip for two, so it will be best if you can calibrate your expectations regarding dream destinations, leisure time, length, etc. When the trip is planned by one of the partners, he/she might feel guilty if something goes wrong and the one who didn’t take part in the preparation will most probably feel a bit disappointed.

♥  If your ideas of what constitutes great time differ, plan some alone activities. This way, both of you would be able to enjoy something you love and then share the impressions.

♥  Tell everybody that you are newly-weds – when you make the hotel and the plane reservations, at the restaurant, at the SPA center. In this way, you increase your chances of special treatment and pleasant newly-weds surprises.

♥  Research the local interesting places to go before hand and plan what you will visit and when. In this way, you would be able to take the maximum of your trip.

♥  Last but not least – relax and have fun! Your honeymoon is special for you and your partner. Enjoy it to the fullest.
